Cap’s speech

Here is a speech that I memorized on my own time and I wanted to share it because it is a really inspirational quote that I like to think of and use in my everyday life. I invite you to comment on what you think it means. You may have have heard it before I got it from the marvel universe from one of my favorite characters that I also try to base my actions and words off of sometimes.

“It doesn’t matter what the press says, it doesn’t what the politition and mob says. It doesn’t matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right.
This nation was founded on one principal above all else, that we stand up for what we believe no matter the odds or the consequences.
When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself  like a tree beside the river of truth and tell the whole world... No, you move.” Steve Rogers/ Captain America

Thanks, do either of you know what comic book it’s from? It was made into a movie in the MCU but they took the scene out were he says this. So if you can name what movie the scene would’ve been in than that’s basically what I’m asking.
