To be honest, airsoft is just amazing. When you are getting shot at, and you have a split second to think of what you’re doing—the rush is amazing. During thanksgiving break, my family and I bought at least seven hundred dollars worth of airsoft guns. On the last day before we left New Mexico, my cousin and dad were about five feet away with guns that shot four hundred feet per second...
At five feet apart with guns that shoot that far, the outcome wasn’t too good. My cousin got shot in the throat and the arm. He got shot so close up that his neck started to bleed, his arm just has big welts on it.
I got a seventy dollar gun, and it was amazing! It was a fully automatic, assault rifle with a shotgun attached to the end of the barrel. The shotgun had such a big spring in it, that it shot almost four hundred feet per second!
When it comes to airsoft, you need batteries. My cousin had an 11.2 volt battery which made it shoot so much faster. My cousin had just charged his battery for twelve and a half hours. When you charge a gun for that long, it starts to sound like a real gun. That is the one reason I loved having him on my team. Once I get a job, I am going to save up my money and get a professional airsoft gun. If it’s professional, it’s extremely expensive. A very good gun that lasts is about five hundred-two thousand dollars. That’s a lot of money for a gun that shoots plastic. Though it is very reliable on the field....
Airsoft is a “sport” that I hope to keep doing for many years to come.
