The Life of Twins

You want to know something weird? Everybody—I know when you start up a conversation with the word ‘twin’ they say I want one. Why? So I can send him to school for me.

That is the first thing you hear someone my age say. If everybody in the world had a twin, it would be confusing. Hi Mom, hi Dad. Oh we’re not your Mom and Dad. The world would be so different if people had twins. I don’t understand why. I mean, if I had a twin, I wouldn’t force him to do stuff, but I would ask him if he could land me a date with a pretty girl.

People want twins for different reasons. But I guarantee you that most people want them to do stuff for you. Human beings wouldn’t be known as individuals if everyone had a twin. If your twin gets famous for you, that’s sad. You take all the credit for what he did. Soon enough they’re gonna quit because they’re people too. In my perspective the world would be confusing.
