The Boy

Once upon a time, there was a boy.

Tough, quiet, and dark.     Dark like the night.       Quiet like a fox hunting his prey.

And as tough as an old wolf. .

He sleeps, eats, and lives in the woods.     Parents are gone, no one to call family.

Days, weeks, months, of living like a savage.

Raised by wolves, ate like a lion, slept like a sloth.       This child never spoke, but indeed

he had communication.     He knew the wolves' cry.     He knew the fox, and how he got

                                                                         around.

He knew how to survive.          Survive the cold nights, walk through the hot humid days.

Stuck in a pack, protecting, hunting, sleeping like the wolf.

Never to be found, until the day he feels the binding wind calling to him, "Go, you're free."

Good job! I liked the part when you said " Untill the day when the wind whispered" You're free."
