Mount Olympus

Monumental source of free and untamed power for
Official Greek Gods.
Untimely destruction of its rival, Mount Othrys.
Not at all uncommon for something of the past
To be full of power and rage to be in an

Olympian path for destruction.
Life on Olympus be very mysterious seeing as though
You can’t go visit the gods.
Mount Olympus can only be visited by people who have two things,
Positive attitude and an imagination.
United power from 14 gods,
So yeah, they can do anything to the human race…

Be smart...

Be smart in school because if  you get bad grades or do dumb things in school, it will be on your record until the day you die. Just be smart, if someone offers you something and you have no clue what it is, just say no thanks. Also turn in your homework.

Better A Lie That Soothes Or A Truth That Hurts?

First off, I believe that is completely wrong. Lies do not soothe. They push off the pain of the initial cut for just enough time for you to cover up with a band aid. If you have ever had a paper cut or any scrape, did a band aid soothe the pain or keep pressure until the cut was healed just enough to take the band aid off? Pain is life. You cannot just skip it or wish that it wasn't there. Everyone experiences pain whether it is self inflicted or is peer inflicted. You do not learn from lies, no matter what your weird older sister says. Have you ever told a lie? I bet once you told that lie you instantly hoped it worked and made another one in case it didn't. Do you need to do that with the truth? No, not unless the person you were telling the truth to didn't like it. But what can you do? People have different opinions and some just don't understand the impact of their decisions. Don't lie, tell the truth. Deal with pain.

Fall-osify

Fall is like a wild fire that can't be stopped. The fall colors make me happy, the falling leaves and the chill. But most of all it's getting closer to Christmas, Thanks Giving, death, a birthday, summer, and the  start of another 365 day journey around the sun.

Every day could be our last, so live life to the fullest, don't be afraid to do stupid things, to be able to tell your your family members what a great life you have and how much fun your having in it. So that you can teach them right from wrong, to teach them about the unknown, to teach them to believe that they can do any thing if the work for it, to strive for better, to believe they can change the world with one perspective.

All I've got to say is life has a lot of choices. Sometimes you pick the good ones, other times you don't.

As far as we get through it, we will be fine when we reach the other side of the road.

Treat Her Right

One day there was a girl. She hates living at home with her family. It’s not that she didn't love her family. They didn't love her. Everyday she wakes up, goes to school, and comes back home to go to bed, because her family doesn't want her to be home. Her family leaves her at home for multiple hours at a time, but she doesn't care, because her boyfriend treats her right.

Or does he?

It all started one morning on his birthday. They were texting as usual, but she didn't tell him she was coming over. All she said was,"Hey baby, happy birthday-it’s been a year and a half, love you no matter what." He replied back with," Thanks babe, you made my day, love you too." He didn't know she had a surprise for him. Later that day, she snuck out of her house because her mom wasn't home yet.

She goes to her boyfriend’s room. Where she find her boyfriend and mom in bed together..... She dropped the flowers and chocolates. Her eyes filled with tears, she was disgusted how could her boyfriend do that to her. She said, how could you do this to me-I loved you and I thought you loved me." The boyfriend said," I didn't think you would find out like this." Before he had time to stop her.... she jumped. She was rushed to the hospital, the boy came along.

The doctor told him she only had an hour to live. The boy was devastated. He said to the girl," I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART." The girl grabs his hand and says," I LOVE YOU TOO." She wasn't grasping anymore. The doctors pronounced her dead. The boy was filled with so much gilt and anger. He got home, and grabbed the gun from the cabinet. The last words he said were," IM SORRY."

Life is like a river

This post is a little late, but I'm deciding to still post it.

Life is so much like a river, it just keeps moving.
Sometimes there are rough times
in life, like you've tried hard and you feel like
                 you're stuck in a whirlpool
                     doing the same thing
                         over
                           and
                        over.
                     Sometimes you rush through life
and you don't pay attention to what is
                               happening.
Sometimes you take life slow and enjoy the slow,
                                       flowing days.
people attack life, rapidly moving down the stream.
                                                Those kinds of people
sometimes take your footing right out from under you.
So whether you're the person that takes life slow
or attacks it and lives the best life they can,
we're all going somewhere so we might as well do something.

The Boy

Once upon a time, there was a boy.

Tough, quiet, and dark.     Dark like the night.       Quiet like a fox hunting his prey.

And as tough as an old wolf. .

He sleeps, eats, and lives in the woods.     Parents are gone, no one to call family.

Days, weeks, months, of living like a savage.

Raised by wolves, ate like a lion, slept like a sloth.       This child never spoke, but indeed

he had communication.     He knew the wolves' cry.     He knew the fox, and how he got

                                                                         around.

He knew how to survive.          Survive the cold nights, walk through the hot humid days.

Stuck in a pack, protecting, hunting, sleeping like the wolf.

Never to be found, until the day he feels the binding wind calling to him, "Go, you're free."

NFL Pledge

I honestly disagree with the NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.

What they're doing is disrespecting our police and army who have fought hard to keep you and me safe. Since the country is paying them millions of dollars to play a sport, the least they could do is respect the flag. Go to a 3rd world country and see how much they will pay you to play a sport, I guarantee you it's not as much as  they're getting payed. I really do respect the fact that they can protest, but I think it should be outside of the NFL. First it was Colin Kaepernick, and now it's the whole NFL.

I think sports should stop being political, sports should be a getaway from it all, and now it just makes me angry.

The Journey

She stood there puzzled. Looking off, over the bend, nothing. There was nothing. Her long journey through the snow and the rain had lead her to complete emptiness. Not only what wasn't actually there, but the empty feeling deep inside.

It seemed as if there was no point in anything anymore.

She just wanted to lie down on the crisp leaves and lifeless grass, and never get up again. Of course that's just how she felt. She knew she couldn't. She had to continue.

My Obsession Over Trampoline Parks

So one thing I obsess about is going to a trampoline park. I mean they're awesome! You can just jump and do back flips. I really want to learn how to do a back flip so I can just back flip into the foam pit. I also want to learn front flips. They are just so fun! I love them.

There is this one place that has a really cool American Ninja Warrior course. It reminds me of The Beastmaster on Netflix where to start you have to climb into the mouth of the beast. Trampoline parks are the perfect place to train for a show like that. They don't even have to have a course they just need the start. The start of the course is a wall  that has a curve. Looks like so much fun-doesn't it? I wish I could go on a show like that.

Trampolines

The hard polypropylene ➖
Is so animated, playful, and lean 🎊
But only with the presents of young spry feet👣
The perfect but simple concept is all pretty neat💭
What better way then spending the day🌤
Playing on the trampoline?
But alone is no fun😞
So run!
Grab a friend👣
Or a pet🐱
Well... maybe not a pet🐾
When you find a friend🙋🏼
In order to get a long🔪
let them choose the first game♨️
Whether it's just jumping🕴🏼
Or blind folded tag✋🏼
I hate to brag, but...
I have most trampoline games in the bag💀
I usually have no choice and jump with my little brother👫
Or once in a while some others👨‍👨‍👧
We jump🕴🏼And jump🕴🏼And jump🕴🏼
And then sometimes we'll bump into each other🏥
Ouch💧
That's a good way to make a grouch👺
But have some fun🎊
Even if it only for a small amount🕢
Jump!

If I were a Fish for the Day.....

If I were a fish for the day.... I would have fun with it. I would swim all day in the ocean, and explore the coral reefs, the starfish, and the turtles. I would probably get tired quickly, because I don't have a ton of stamina and endurance—but it would still be fun to try!

I would go up to where the waves break and nibble at people's feet. They'd (if they were anything like me) probably start crazily screaming that a jellyfish stung them. I would try to make friends with all the types of fish.

Except the piranha.

Maybe I could even meet a fish like Dory.....or Nemo!

Story of the Young Girl and the Lady Grabber

There once was a town where every where you go there is crime. In this story, there was a young girl named Willow, and she was walking down this alley to get to her home. But then out of the ground there were these huge hands. Willow screamed and tried to get away but couldn’t - these hands grabbed her and took her to a different dimension.

In the dimension, the monster brought her to this cave and tied her to a stalagmite. A couple hours passed, but now there was this guy walking towards her. This guy then reached her and said, “Hello, my name is Richard, I have come to rescue you.” Then, all of a sudden the hands came back. Richard said, “I’ll handle this!”

He runs over to the hands and takes out his huge sword and slices fingers off one by one.
After he slayed the hands, he freed Willow and took her back to her dimension. As they arrived at her dimension, they walked to her house and then the girl kissed him as a reward.
                                                                      The End.

My Visit to California

When I went to Sacramento, California, I had a Gucci time. I went to visit some family, and while I was there I had some good, local food. Now I'm not trying to be racist, but there was a lot of Mexican food. I had a giant burrito with guacamole almost everyday. It tasted like it could fill up three people, it was huge. I wanted to go to Hollywood but there wasn't enough time, because we were only there for the weekend.  Also, when I was there, we went to go see my cousin's basketball games. Before practice, we would often play each other, and I won most of the games.

I liked going to California and messing around.

Nothing

N
Nothing is in my mind, and I can’t think about what to write about.
O
On this piece of paper is going to be a huge page filled with
writing about nothing. Nothing could be anything or absolutely nothing.
T
That is saying that nothing could be everything, anything is itself, nothing. Nothing is on a page that has writing/drawing(s) on it. It could be a glass filled with
H
Hot air or cold air, and it is a very questionable thing. Nothing could also be like if you get rid of something big in your house, then that spot is filled with nothing. Or it could be like a letter after you opened it and took the card/letter out of it. Nothing is a very mystical thing as well.
I
In most cases nothing is like the sound a leader makes after they tell everyone to pay attention or be quiet.
N
Not all things are filled with nothing or have nothing in it as well or either. Nothing is on my mind right now to write about.
G
Giving some people nothing as a gift could be just as fine as giving someone a gift because it is saying, “I don't know what you like so I didn't get you anything."

Misunderstood

The slight ringing in my head gently blinked my eyes open, cold air from the open wall grazing my skin. But neither was pleasant.

He was there, I could tell. I always could.

I ran my hands under the crisp, fridged water trickling from the rusty faucet. Wishing I could shower, I pushed my fingers through my greasy, grimy hair. Replacing the shirt I had on with a subtle button up, I thought how I was already late. 18 hours a day for minimum wage, being late was not my concern.

He was there. The throbbing in my head, the shake in my voice, the regret in my soul. Yeah he was there. He was telling me I've already had one too many second chances, but he won't act on that... Yet.

I trudged down the three sets of stairs, being there is no elevator in this complex. Every wall in here stained or barring a hole. All just failed attempts, mishaps.

Kneeling

I am so mad that people think that kneeling during the Pledge of Allegiance or The National Anthem is ok. Also they think that it doesn't mean disrespect to any armed forces member. But it does! And I have a lot of things to say about that misconceptual BS. When you kneel it disrespects every Brave man and women who have fought for that flag and what it stands for. I don't give a crap what you believe in and what political party you support, you stand for that flag because without it we wouldn't be free.

Colin Kaepernick first brought kneeling to the sports universe in 2016, and almost two years later it just keeps on growing. Almost every NFL team did it at one time and now the MLB has started. Bruce Maxwell was the first and only to kneel, so far. But I don't care if you're black, white, a woman, a man, or whatever you choose to do in your free time, we all are Americans so start acting like it!

Why? Are we afraid

Some people are afraid of the people on the other side of the world, some aren't, its reasonable. Everyone has fears, but we fear the things we cannot understand.

As the people in Korea threaten us with bombs it feels so unnecessary, but if you think about it, we're afraid of them because we don't understand them.

But they're afraid of us because they don't understand us and that's why they threaten us.

The most important thing, is that we don't have to resolve it in war or hate, a lot of people in the world think the only way is to beat things into liking or trusting us but nothing is like that. Trust goes both ways.

They might seem like bad people, but if you and everyone else in the world give them a chance, they can change everyones mind. It will make us and them less afraid because they know we mean no harm.

Fan Fiction

Hey guys. So I'm writing an on-going story from the Clone Wars that has not been told yet.
Tell me what you think and if you want to read more!

"Rex! I might need some help!" Anakin Skywalker yelled into his comm link.
"Right away sir!" said Captain Rex.

"Time is not on our side," said General Obi-Wan-Kenobi to General Skywalker's Padawan learner, Ahsoka Tano. "No Kenobi, it isn't!" the shrewd voice of General Grevious. "Not at all," came a new voice from the shadows. Asajj Ventress' voice.

It was Count Dooku against Captain Rex, Arc Trooper Fives, and Anakin Skywalker. None of them stood a chance against a Sith Lord like him. Not alone at least...

WHAT IS REASONABLE?

Lone wolf, they called him,  the gunman on the 32nd floor with
Automatic Weapons
             not
Semi-automatic.  There's a difference, you know.  I don't really understand it, but they say
anyone can make the adjustment, it's not

Very hard.  Something about "bump stocks", about which now even the NRA says: "hmmm..."                         Nothing you can't make with a 3D printer though.  Humans are nothing if not                                        inventive.  Especially when it comes to killing each other.
Everything feels unreal.  "Bratatatat" strikes terror in my soul, and I'm only watching from
behind a screen.  59 dead.  Over 500 wounded. It's hard to comprehend, really.
That's a lot of blood, pain, confusion, lives cut short because of
Guns.
Guns kill people.  This is true.  Sure, I get it -- People kill people.  This is also true.
Also true is this:  People with guns kill more people than people without guns.
Believe me, I've read and heard all the
Arguments.  But right now ----  I'm just. So. Tired. Of. Them. All.
                 It's time to say,
Simply  --   Make the Laws.
                      Take the guns away.
                      Pistols? Rifles? sure, ok
Kill a pheasant or deer any day.

Machine guns, though?  No one needs those.  Well, at least not 42 of them.  I mean, you can only shoot one at a time, right? So let's have a talk about reasonable gun laws then.  Can we do that?
What is reasonable?

And while we're at it, let's talk about mental health care, shall we? About making sure we don't prescribe drugs that we know cause aggressive or psychotic behavior.  About making sure everyone feels that they are a part of a community.

Let's make it so there are no more "Lone Wolves" who feel so apart from society and reality that they take it out on the innocent, and leave us all wondering.....

Thank You

If it weren't for the 10-Day Writing Challenge, I would have been sitting at home reading and grading all of your homework assignments every night.  Don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy reading your thoughts about books and the world.  But I'm just so glad that I had time to write in my journal! Thank you.  It was such a luxury for me!!  It's ok if it wasn't so wonderful for you.  :)

I guess all I really hope is that you now know it's possible.  You never know what you are capable of until you try. People say that a lot, but then they never actually push themselves out of their comfort zones. You all did. That's a big deal.

Also, I hope you now know that you can always come back to your journal whenever you want. Try to make writing in it a thing you WANT to do, instead of the thing you HAVE to do.

It will always be there for you.
It can be anything you want it to be:   Poetry. Art. Music. Research. Fact. Fiction. Fandom. Plans. Ideas. Opinions. Comics. Humor. Philosophy. Memories.
It can be a reflection of who you are and an extension into who you want to become.
It's a story worth telling.

Every story is a story worth telling.
