The human mind is like a river
Lost always
Soon to be found always
Indescribable.
Free but trapped
Trapped on by the limits of the banks
Once taken away from the flow
No longer a river
No matter how it's rearranged.
Free by the laws of the universe
Never permanently hurt
No matter how it's
Crushed.
Glistening but never knowing it's own beauty.
Tortured by human kind that so fondly and naturally pollutes it
But it never weakens and just learns to flow stronger.
So easily held captive but never trapped.
Imprinted on easier than how it naturally knows how to flow.
Dangerous beyond reason, powerful but never understanding
If ever understood the world would crumble under the power.

This is amazing! I love the level deepeness!
Wow! I love the metaphors here. Rivers are mesmerizing and so is your poem.
This is very creative. I could really picture it!
This is really amazing Robbie, I love how you made connections between things that apply to humans then things that apply to a river like " Trapped but only in the limits of the banks"
