End of the year

This year was really great. Everybody has made this class really fun. I couldn’t have asked for better people to be in this class with. I’m glad to have been in this class with all these great people. Thank you for great memories we’ve made together.

The truth is, I am Galan Aliase

Hello my friends and classmates.
As some of you may have known for a while, I am Stuart Myers and I have been an editer-in-chief since the beginning of the year. It’s been a fun year with you all, we’ve shared our sadness, our happiness, and our anger. I’ve learned a lot in this class and I hope you all have too, so good luck in the years to come and remember it’s the hardest days of our life’s that define us. So persevere and don’t lose sight of the finish line.

Summer Plans

I plan on having a great summer, I'm going to LA to see my half sister, I really don't like her but I want to go to California so I have to. I've been to California, but never LA. I think that LA will be a lot of fun. Other than California, my summer will be pretty uneventful. I'll probably just end up hanging out with friends. But even the most boring summer is still better than being in school. I find school really boring and not fun, but i'll never drop out of school though. Even though I hate school, I need to go school if I ever I want to get a good paying job. Overall, I can't wait to be done with middle school, it was rough.

End of the year

This year has been full of ups and downs, and being a new student was definitely hard. I had never moved schools before this, and I was terrified to do so, but now I can say that I have. I feel so much stronger than I was before. I have accomplished so much, such as making some of the best friends I have ever had in my life. It is hard to believe that at one point, I didn’t know them. To think that I am so close with them, and I have only known them for less than a year. And the teachers. The teachers that I met this year have helped me through so much, and I am beyond thankful. But special thanks to Ms. Spengler for putting Abby and I next to each other on the first day of school, because if that didn’t happen, then we wouldn’t be friends like we are now. I would not trade this experience for any other, because it has changed me in the best ways. I’m a completely different person than I was last year, but looking back, I’m so much better than I was before, and that is only because of this school, and the people. Thank you for an amazing first year at Manitou, and last year in Middle School!

Stupid

A lot of things are really stupid.
And just about every single one of those “stupid things” no one can change or do anything about.
Which is just one of many stupid things.
You know what’s stupid school.
Not all of it.
By all means not all of it.

You know what else is stupid the word stupid.
It’s really over used.

Happy End of the Year! :)

I am super excited that the school year is coming to a close. It’s weird to think that we’ll be high schoolers next year.... I am loooking forward to the summer though, because I get to visit my old friends from Virginia! I also am going to Europe with my old soccer team and best friend, so that should be nice. :) I hope that everyone has a great summer! See you in August!

Cap’s speech

Here is a speech that I memorized on my own time and I wanted to share it because it is a really inspirational quote that I like to think of and use in my everyday life. You may have have heard it before I got it from the marvel universe from one of my favorite characters that I also try to base my actions and words off of sometimes.

Who I am

          By now you all probably know me because of the flash posts. I also made a mistake at the beginning of the year and accenedtly put my actual name on my first post then changed it so I wasn’t really sure how many people saw that. I think only a few people in this class know who I am they are Christian, Matt D, and I am assuming Casey.
          My plans for the summer are going to be trying to do as much basketball and track as possible and any other sport I enjoy as well. On the forth of July week I am going to Kentucky to see my Aunt and Uncle and I am also going to Illinois at the same time to see my other Aunt, Uncle, and cousin. What are you guys doing over the summer.

Freedom in School?

Recently I have seen many infringements on our first amendment rights in school. Mostly because they just want to look good so they make students take down social media posts and making students talk when they don't want too. Manitou Springs school district needs to be known as a anti-constitutional school who does not respect law.

Finally

Our school year is coming to a close in a couple weeks and I’m really happy about it, but the problem is that we have to come back in three months so are we really done? No we aren’t because it’s a long break that’s it we have to come back in three months and restart. A new school, new teachers, new everything. So happy three month break!
